Darryn joins our Project Management Office with an extensive history in project management, business development, quality assurance testing and programming. While pursuing a degree in computer science at York University, he established himself as the head of QA at VIQ Solutions, an AI-driven voice and video capture service that manages digital content. After graduation, Darryn went on to pursue his interest in working as a Software Developer.
With nearly a decade of international experience in the tech megacity of Shenzhen, Darryn speaks fluent Chinese. In his time as a VP of Pactera, an IT consulting and outsourcing company, Darryn grew the office from a team of two to nearly 200, and managed projects in a variety of different languages across numerous geographic and cultural barriers. Since then, Darryn has worked in the fields of project management, account management, business development and technical pre-sales.
When he’s not managing clients or setting up agile project workflows, Darryn enjoys tactile hands-on woodworking, tabletop gaming and practising his photography skills at family events and gatherings.
