Mike knew he was destined for sales when he set up a used (dinky) car dealership at the end of his driveway at the age of seven. Not precisely a lemonade stand, but it was the thrill of the transactional and interpersonal exchange that fuelled his passion, not to mention his love of cars which still holds true to this day.
After finishing studies at Humber College in the Business Admin program, Mike received his securities license and started selling investments and mortgages with Royal Bank. He would obtain a real estate license to assist in growing his personal portfolio of investment properties.
Mike comes to Treefrog after spending the last 12 years in the world of Radio, where he partnered with companies of all sizes to develop unique ways to reach their target audience. There’s a good chance that if you were listening to a commercial on Z103.5, he had something to do with it.
His philosophy on sales is pretty simple – talk less and listen more. The solution to a client’s problems is found in the conversation. We just have to listen effectively to uncover the answers.
When he’s not in the gym, he keeps himself busy stock trading, analyzing real estate, listening to his favourite podcast and spending time with his two boys (which is a full-time job in itself).
