Kyle earned a degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Ontario Tech University. In his first year of university, Kyle discovered his love for entrepreneurship when he embarked on a mission to build an interchangeable smartwatch and “compete” against a small company called Apple. While the venture was unsuccessful, it taught Kyle a lot about business, entrepreneurship and building products. Coupled with education in automation, robotics and computing, Kyle was ready to take his unique skill set and carve out his unique career path.

Ever since, Kyle has been using his passion for technology and entrepreneurship to bridge the gap between business objectives and technical solutions. Kyle joined a local startup in Whitby and worked his way through the ranks from summer student intern to a multi-responsibility role of product manager, devops engineer, dev team lead. While maintaining a critical role on the team, Kyle used his free time to build new products, test hypotheses and provide mentorship to other entrepreneurs that lacked a technical skillset. After several successes with the local startup, Kyle was ready to move on to his next challenge. Enter Treefrog.

Kyle joins Treefrog, ready for his next adventure that will push his ability to bridge technology and business to the next level as the Technological Infrastructure Manager with the simple goal; build something extraordinary.

When not working, Kyle is an avid Formula 1 and Leaf’s fan. PSA: If you bring up either to him, please be prepared to have a whole conversation about it. Along with watching hockey, Kyle has played since a young age and will likely never stop. Kyle will watch any, and every movie recommended to him. He loves to travel and go on new adventures with friends, especially if the experience involves food. Kyle will never say no to coffee and often uses it as an excuse to get to know new friends and coworkers.
