Treefrog Hosts IRAP Announcement

MP and Senator recognize local business innovation

The Frogs have always been proud of our inventive spirit, and today we celebrated our innovation and progress with Newmarket-Aurora MP Lois Brown and Senator Don Meredith as they announced IRAP funding grants for local businesses from our headquarters.

MP Brown recognized the positive impact of federal funding initiatives on businesses right here in our community. She announced IRAP grants for Treefrog Interactive Inc., as well as fellow Newmarket and Aurora area recipients,

As part of Canada's Economic Action Plan, the Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP) encourages growth in smaller, entrepreneurial businesses, including attracting international revenue and talent into Canada, working with colleges and universities to advance technological education, and stimulating other businesses and job creation through marketing, innovation and product development.

As our CEO Sean Stephens says, "IRAP is creating an innovation garden of Eden in Newmarket and Aurora."

As a beneficiary of IRAP, Treefrog has been able to undertake substantial development of the LEAP™ Content Management System to create LEAP™ 5.0. Currently in soft release, the new software expands on the existing capabilities of LEAP™ CMS to allow businesses even more flexibility in controlling and maintaining their websites.

The first LEAP™ 5.0 websites are underway and are slated to go live in March and April.
