It's not Easy Being Green

We are proud to say, we are trying our best to be green

Not because we are crazy hemp-wearin' hippies, but because we genuinely care about our future on the Planet Earth.

So here are a few things we have done to help the environment:

1. We are Bullfrog Powered. We pay a little extra, but we reduced our emissions footprint this year by approximately 5.6 tonnes of CO2 (the primary gas that causes climate change), 16.4 Kg of SO2 (major contributor to smog) and 7.1 Kg of NO (major contributor to smog).
2. We have moved our servers to power-saving servers in a Virtual Environment - thus lowering our total power usage dramatically.
3. We have experimented with several new technologies for lowering power usage (e.g. LED lights). We have made a concerted effort to replace/fix any "excess" power usage in our offices.
4. We bought an older property (85 years old!), and renovated it with all-new insulation, all-new windows and doors, a new high-efficiency furnace, a new chimney, and anything else we could think of to save power and reduce heat emissions.
5. We offer cash bonuses to employees who Smart Commute. Several of our employees actively participate in this program.
6. We clean our property with eco-friendly cleaners. Yum, lemon and vinegar!
7. We promote health and wellness among our employees in the office. Apples are always in our office!
8. We are currently partnered with the Toronto Zoo and the Amphibian Arc, promoting the "Year of the Frog" campaign.
