Websites & Dentures
Would you want to wear someone else’s dentures?
We once had a prospective client ask us if they could use their friend’s dental website and, with some minor modifications, also use it for their own.
He used the analogy of when one of his patients come into his office, looking to make minor adjustments to their current denture as opposed to having to “reinvent the wheel” and make a new one, thus saving money.
You'll likely never 100% be in love with it. It may not even fit you the way it should..
We explained to this client that this is not really what he was asking us to do. What he was really asking was for us to take his friends denture and adjust it so that it would fit his own mouth, thus not having to “reinvent the wheel” and “saving money”.
So the answer is yes – we can adjust someone else’ dentures or website (with proper permissions) and use it for your own personal venture, however would you really want to?
The same is true with using template solutions website designs. It’s like using a denture that has been used over and over again by other people – each time going through slightly more modifications in order to make it work.
At the end of the day though, it’s still not your denture. You’ll likely never 100% be in love with it. It may not even fit you the way it should, however it can work.
