A common response we get from potential clients as to why they chose not to go with our LEAP™ Content Management System, is "I will be going with a non-proprietary content management system instead". This common response leads us to research and write on the topic of the disadvantages to an Open Source Content Management System. 2008 is "Year of the Frog" We at Treefrog™ are big supporters of our amphibian friend the frog and don't want to see any harm come to the species. "After more than 360 million years of survival, 1/3 to 1/2 of the world's approximately 6000 known amphibian species could become extinct in our lifetime. Earth is facing the single largest mass extinction since the disappearance of dinosaurs. " We even sponsor a frog at the Zoo, we have to keep our amphibian friends around! |

Google releasing Google Chrome web browser today! Exciting news in the browser world - Google is going to join the ranks of browsers today with the release later today of Google Chrome. We're all itching to give this browser a try here so we hope you are too. "Google Chrome's UI is inspired by Opera: tabs are displayed above the address bar, the address bar combines previously typed URLs with search results and suggestions and there's a homepage that includes frequently visited sites, recently closed tabs, bookmarks and searches." |

With Firefox 3, Mozilla has changed the way Firefox handles SSL certificates. This change could scare away visitors from tens of thousands of websites that have expired or self-signed SSL certificates. |

Treefrog™ to participate in Newmarket Home Show Treefrog™ will be participating in the 12th Annual Newmarket Chamber of Commerce Home Show event April 4th, 5th and 6th at the Magna Centre in Newmarket. The theme - "Developing a Sustainable Community". In order to participate in this event, Treefrog™ had to qualify buy proving how we promote ecologically friendly ways in our everyday business operations. We are proud to say that we were accepted to join the event, due to our due diligence in maintaining and promoting environmentally friendly business practices.
