Jokers Hill Website Launch Party
The Frogs Celebrate Jokers Hill Scientific Reserve Website Launch
What happens when you take a group of tech-savvy Frogs away from their computers and out into the wilderness? A great afternoon celebrating the launch of the new LEAP™ website for the University of Toronto's Koffler Scientific Reserve at Jokers Hill.
Recently Treefrog and the University of Toronto's Jokers Hill came together to build a dynamic website to promote their needs as a scientific reserve and an educational facility. To celebrate the launch of their delightful new site, Arthur Weis, the Director of Studies at Jokers Hill, invited the Frogs to experience a guided nature hike through the beautiful scientific reserve.
The Frogs ventured out with Art as their guide, hiking through picturesque trails while learniing about the groundbreaking scientific studies that happen at Jokers Hill. We were also treated to interesting facts about the origins of the 160-kilometres expanse of wilderness full of beautiful little lakes, vast fields and ancient deciduous forests of beech and maple, cedar and white pine.
Jokers Hill, formerly an equestrian farm, was donated to the University of Toronto in 1996 by the Koffler family. The reserve is now home to a variety of studies with respect to our environment and its conservation. Students have the opportunity to expand their knowledge through participation at this unique facility.
