"The Newmarket Chamber of Commerce has been working with Treefrog Interactive under a contractual arrangement for the moving and hosting of the Chamber's primary and secondary Domain Name Services (DNS), the Chamber's e-mail services, and the design and development of a new Chamber website using the LEAP™ web operating and content management system. The Chamber selected Treefrog™ because of their solid understanding of network and Internet technologies, as well as for their exceptional creative expertise with designing web sites and the associated information architectures, integration to third party software and incorporation of new media and social networking components. The Chamber is extremely satisfied with the services and support provided by Treefrog™, and are looking forward to the upcoming launch of the new web site.
Treefrog Interactive is also responsible for the design, development and support of the Smart Commute Central York (SCCY) web site, a program administered by the Newmarket Chamber of Commerce. It was based on this positive and productive working relationship that Treefrog™ was selected for the Chamber requirements. The SCCY web site is currently undergoing a design refresh, incorporating new social media components. The ability of SCCY and Chamber staff to easily add modules, edit content and manipulate the menus and content elements within Treefrog's LEAP™ software without having to know HTML, CSS and other web programming elements, is a key advantage of the system. Treefrog Interactive is also a key participant in the the Shared Digital Infrastructure (SDI) Initiative: a collaborative project involving the Newmarket Public Library, the Town of Newmarket, Southlake Regional Health Centre and the Chamber of Commerce, and which also recently received significant federal funding under Industry Canada's Community Adjustment Fund. Treefrog™ is supplying both the creative and programming support for several projects under the SDI project, in addition to technical writing, technology vision and leadership, and custom application development.
