Treefrog™ Shines on Breakfast Television
Early Frogs get the spotlight on Toronto morning show
Treefrog's Sean Stephens and Sarid Ortiz were up before the birds today to make an early-morning appearance on City TV's Breakfast Television while participating in Canadian Manufacturing Week at the Toronto Congress Centre.
Partnering with Treefrog's longtime friend and client, Chris Murray of Myostat Motion Control Inc., Treefrog™ created the back-end infrastructure for an iPad application that allows users to control Myostat's servo motors with the touch of a screen. Chris is introducing the new app at this week's manufacturing show.
During their feature on BT, Sean and Chris discussed the uses of the motors and the added capabilities provided by the new iPad app. Their demo had BT's correspondent Jennifer Valentyne directing a servo motor to pop balloons by simply guiding the motor with a fingertip on the iPad. Treefrog's contribution to the project allows users to mine and manipulate data for a variety of end uses.
